Road Biking New Jersey

I have a lot of rides that didn't make to book because of limited space, length or type of ride. I have started posting some of them here. They are Excel spreadsheets arranged by starting location. This list is small now but should grow over time as I continue to post and create ridesheets for the rides I do.

• Starting Point: Peter Musical School Ward Ave, Bordentown NJ

• Burlington County Cruise (57 miles) - a flat 57 mile cruise pass Fort Dix through Buddtown and back pass Smithville.
• Burlington County Cruise 2 (70 miles) - a flat fun 70 mile cruise to the top of the pinelands and back.

• Starting Point: Village Park, Cranbury, NJ

• Cream Ridge (45 miles) - a flat to rolling ride through Cream Ridge with a stop at the Clarksburg Deli
• Rue Road (42 miles) - a rolling ride through some of the nice horse farms of he area including a fun ride down Rue Road
• Turkey Swamp (43 miles) - a rolling ride through the roads in and around Turkey Swamp
• Columbus NJ
• Starting Point: Mansfield Community Park, Columbus, NJ

• Pine Barrens Metric (62 miles) - a flat 62 mile ride though the upper part of the Pine Barrens
• Frenchtown NJ
• Starting Point: Bridge Street Cafe, Bridge Street, Frenchtown NJ

• Bloomsbury Hilly Scenic (53 miles) - a hilly 53 mile ride through some of the most scenic areas around Frenchtown
• Bloomsbury Short (43 miles) - a shorter hilly ride to Bloomsbury and back. There are still a couple of tough climbs but also a monster down hill on Woolfs road
• Hightstown NJ
• Starting Point: Etra Park, Hightstown, NJ
• Ride Sheets
• Englishtown (36 miles) - a rolling ride from Etra park to Englishtown and back.
• New Egypt Short way (43 miles) - The standard short coffee run to New Egypt. Try it forwards or backwards and mix in some other roads for variety.
• Delicious Orchards (50 miles) - An easy ride to Delicious Orchards for some of the best food to be found in New Jersey
• Lambertville NJ
• Starting Point: CVS, Route 29 Lambertville, NJ

• Blake's Route (50 miles) - a  hilly ride up to Milfod on the Jersey side then back on the PA side.
• Milford PA
  
• Starting Point: Milford Beach, Milford PA (There is a fee to park at Milford Beach to avoid the fee you can park at the Grand Union in the Middle of town)

• Milford to HighPoint(54 miles) - a ride from Milford PA to the highest point in NJ. This is a hilly ride but with a lot of ups and downs but there is no killer hills and should be in reach of any normal hill climber

• Starting Point: Kittatinny State Park Goodale Rd, Newton NJ
  
• Ride Sheets
• Shades of Death(50 miles) - a ride on some of nice roads around Newton NJ including the famous Shades of Death Rd. The terrain is mostly rolling with only a few climbs

• Starting Point: Parking Lot 2 Raritan Valley Community College, Branchburg NJ

• Schooley's Mtn (56 miles) - A beautiful but hilly 56 mile ride to Schooley's Mountain
• Schooley's Mtn 2010 (53 miles) - A different and slightly hillier route to Schooley's Mountain and back. Over 4000 feet of climbing
• Middle Valley (47 miles) - Another hilly ride to Schooley's Mountain from the western side with lots of good views along the way
• Rocky Hill NJ
• Starting Point: Rocky Hill parking area, Delaware and Raritan Canal. Corner of Rt 518 and Canal Rd

• Sargentville Cruise (53 miles) - a nice ride over the Sourlands to Sagentville and back.
• Muffin Run (52 miles) - ride to Stanton and back. Unfortunately Stanton General Store is now closed so there are no more muffins. Rest stop is now the Wawa on 202
• Lamberville Cruise (49 miles) - Moderately hilly ride to Lamberville and back
• Stockton NJ
• Starting Point: Bulls Island, Stockton, NJ

• Low Hills of Lambertville (27 miles) - a slightly hilly ride that show you some of the nices roads around Lamberville.
• West Windsor NJ
• Starting Point: Mercer County Park Edinburg Road Parking lot, Parking lot on Edinburg Rd about a quarter mile west of Old Trenton Rd

• Roebling River Ride (63 miles) - a ride through Roebling and along the Delaware river before heading through the farmlands of Burlington county
